FREE Messy Canvas e-Book

If you are an artist, wish you were an artist or always tell people, “I’m not artistic,” then this e-Book is for you. It’s the pep-talk you’ve been waiting for, the proverbial kick in the pants to help you take those baby steps towards living your life with creative purpose and passion.

I am excited for you to read this book! Ever since I started my Messy Canvas blog in 2005, I have been on a journey of capturing, through writing and photography, my creative longings, successes and short-comings. This e-Book is the backbone to what my blog is all about. It is the blood that courses through my veins. It is the life-song I have chosen to sing. It is my heart pushed into 43 pages, and as you read it I hope you find yourself amidst the words. I hope you find the real you, the artist you, and I hope you embrace yourself and enter into a life full of creating.

I finally believe in myself, and I want you to believe in yourself. It’s time to pinpoint excuses, sand away the rough patches of fears, tune out discouragement, recall dreams, embrace imperfection, and choose now as the moment to begin. You are an artist and you have been entrusted with a blank canvas. It’s time to get gloriously messy. What are you waiting for?

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT THE BOOK

“In the last 24 hours, since reading Messy Canvas, an explosion of thoughts and ideas have taken over my head and my heart of hearts. My deepest longings and biggest dreams really don’t seem that impossible anymore. Many of which I thought I had let go of, but they’ve really just been hanging out in the dark and dusty corners of my soul, waiting for the day that they would be unearthed and brought back to life.”

- Rachel Antone

“Thank you Mandy Steward for your honesty and genuine desire to call out the artist in each of us.  I have no doubt that Messy Canvas was meant to minister to me in my own life as an artist.  Perfectionism is definitely something that has held me back from running forward full force.  I don’t want to allow another day of negative thinking rob me of the time I’ve been given to create and have new adventures.  I know I am not alone–ANY artist will be awakened by this book. A MUST read!”

- Marcy Priest

“Thank you for letting your brilliance shine and speak truth into dry, thirsty hearts. I cannot wait to get a glimpse at how this e-Book will impact people. Love it!”

- Katie Niles

“If these words don’t move you past your fears and challenge you to find yourself in creativity, I don’t know what will. I love what Mandy says, ‘To be an artist, you cannot be paralyzed by imperfection. You must be willing to embrace it.’ Honest. Beautiful. And absolute truth.”

- Carlos Whittaker

“Mandy Steward’s ‘Messy Canvas’ is insightfully truthful, and it is clear that she is lit from within with inspiration for art no matter how it manifests for each person. As my own creativity expands to encompass more than just visual art, Steward’s words are a breath of fresh air.”

- Penelope Dullaghan

“I just inhaled this book. It’s what my soul has been screaming for the past 5 years. Thank you for stringing together so eloquently the nitty-gritty truths and putting out there for us to see in black and white. I’m making everybody I know read this.”

- Shayne

“I downloaded the book and immediately read all of Part 1. The only reason I didn’t read the whole book in one sitting is that I know I need to ponder what you have said and let it all sink in. It really feels like you are speaking directly to me and even more – that you have read my mind! This is a gem of a book for all aspiring artists but most especially those of us who have especially noisy inner critics who keep telling us we’re not good enough. I love your frequent references to children’s books (the kind that adults love as much as kids). Beautifully written! Thank you so much!”

-Eileen, The Artful Crafter

“Your quote goes here. Read the Messy Canvas e-Book and let me know what resonated with you!”

Hi Mandy – I tried to purchase your “Homemade Angry Noodles” e-book. It charged my Visa card but I never saw where to download it on the screen nor has it arrived as an attachment in an e-mail. I also sent for the sample chapter last month but it never arrived. Can you help me with this? I don’t need the sample chapter anymore. Just wondering if you could send me a PDF of the actual book now. Thanks so much!
