I’m guest blogging here today about Entering In. I wrote about some of what I’m learning through reading Galatians. It certainly applies to everyone, but for you artist types who are seeking to use your creations to do something big for God, you might really enjoy it. I think it will take some pressure off of you, if you are in fact the type, like me, to heap a lot of pressure on yourself.

There are some great writers on this Church Online blog, so you might find yourself getting lost in reading other posts as well. For example, this one, called Willing to Be a Mess. You can imagine as an IMPERFECT person how much I like this post! I hope this blog inspires you. I’m honored to get to be a part of those writing there.

Mandy, I like what you’ve done here in pointing your readers to the Church Online blog. Can I steal this idea from you? :)

And great post, again. Galatians is my favorite book. Your writing and insights are inspiring.

Absolutely Brian. Steal away. :) How awesome to hear that you love Galatians as well. I feel like I’ve been under rock having missed it for so many years. But I am thankful for what I’m learning now through that book. Thank you so much for your encouragement in my writing. It gives me great hope to have people like your wife and you say I am inspiring. Feels good to be doing something with the gifts God has given me. Feels good to be walking in faith and realizing other lives are being touched! Thanks so much for letting me know.

Reading your words “… if I could piece together enough goals, enough rules, enough achievements to create life and fulfillment in me, certainly I would have done so by this time.” reminded me of the time, effort and skill required to create a quilt. We busy ourselves with cutting and binding, matching corners, etc. when our Abba Father already has a “ready made” covering of His amazing grace. And He awaits our willingness to put aside our tiny human-made stitches and to wrap ourselves in His custom designed comfort. ♥
