Right before we moved I finished a baby doll for my friend Nicole who is pregnant. The doll is for her baby girl who will be born in the very near future!
The baby’s bedroom colors are light pink and brown, so I tried to make a doll that would work well in her room. Thanks Alison for the fabric!
I used the Emily Martin’s doll pattern and adapted it slightly to fit my liking. I also added a flower to her hair, because it reminded me of the flower headbands my girls and I like to wear.
It’s neat to think about the person that you are sewing for during the creating process. Now, I can’t wait to meet her!
