I wanted to make something similar to the social media pins, but minus the logos like Facebook and Twitter that had the potential to get me in trouble.
For some inspiration, I gave my kids a 2.25″ x 2.25″ piece of paper with rounded corners. They used this as a pattern and drew rounded squares on a piece of paper. Then I asked them to to draw something in the squares. A whole bunch of super cute drawings came from this. I can only hope, with time, there will be more transformed into pins. Besides the bird, I think my favorite was a pirate.
I love being inspired by my kids.
