No for sure news yet on our home. Maybe tomorrow? Ack, the suspense is killing me. We do appreciate all the prayers on our behalf though. I’m really hoping I can post a positive, for-sure, set-in-stone update before my computer has to be packed.
Very productive day today in packing land. The entire kitchen and lots of other weird sized odds and ends, like planting pots, infant car seat, globe, etc were lovingly shoved into boxes. We ate LOTS of ice cream at lunch today, so I could unplug and clean out the refrigerator. No sense repeating this tragedy again!
I’m so sore and so tired. I had good intentions of trying to finish up some Scrap Girls related work, but I think that might just have to wait until after the move. I can only do so much, plus I’ve got to try and be a nice mommy at the same time.
I do have two kid-related things to share though:
One – I’m amazed at how imaginative my kids have been since the majority of their toys have been packed. Today I had all the windows and doors open in the house (it was a beautiful Southern California day) and they ran in and out all day playing all sorts of make-believe games. This is by far some of the best play I’ve seen them do, and there were very few fights. I knew they had it in them! No wonder I had a productive day. Tony and I are wondering if we should even bother unpacking the toys when we get to Oklahoma.
Two – Last nite was our last time attending our church before we move. Afterwards, it was dark as we were heading to our car and I said to Nehemiah, “Do you see any stars?”
“Just one,” He said, pointing to it.
“I only see one too. I wonder where all the other stars are?”
“Oklahoma,” he said.
I laughed so hard. I wonder if he thinks I packed the stars too?
